Reviews for Tamarac by using Slippers International Women's Venus Shearling Slipper (Apparel) I in comparison these to an old pair of UGGs of the same type, and they are nearly the same-except for no UGG imprint. Possibly a thicker, cushier layer of shearling within the insole than the UGGs. Arrived quick, correctly packaged with paper stuffed within the toes. Only two very minor problems: the dye is not set. I dropped a couple of drops of water on them and the dye saved lifting off, so water resistant them when you get them. Also, the description stated, or implied, that they were US made, but the tag within the shoe says MADE IN CHINA. Not a massive deal, however I attempt to keep American when possible.
