The simplest real difference I now notice is the heal in this case is a piece more snug. I'm using this shoe also after coming off a heal damage. I'm a larger runner so this supplys great reinforce and cushioning.

Previously, I paid nearly $140 for the Mizuno Wave and was very dissappointed with the Mizuno Wave. I need a operating shoe for heavier runners - I am 230 and muscular. It's clear that value isn't any indication of what you are going to get in the running shoe world. I expected the more expensive running sneakers to be better, extra at ease than this $70 Asics working shoe and that's just no longer actual with this shoe. With running sneakers, there is a level of diminishing return. A $400 running shoe is most probably not fourX higher and 4X extra at ease than a $100 running shoe. Think about it! This Asics used to be the best of threee shoes I sold - see the $80 NB 1064 and the $140 Mizuno Wave. I ran and labored out in all 3 running sneakers and the Asics was one of the best of all three. I was most impressed with the Asics 2150, because it price half of the price of different "premium" running shoes and was actually a greater performer. Next time, I'm going to buy two or three pairs of these Asics and just consider and are privy to it does not get much better than this. That's smarter!
