The first now notable item to mention is that they are kind fitting. Secondly and most important to me, they feel proper. They fit snug on the foot and as if they are a section of the foot. The shoe felt nice to start with, however on my fifth or sixth run, the ankle collar started rubbing painfully against my ankle ball. I was soon compelled to retire them. I ultimately offered a pair of thick sole inserts to use them sometimes. My local retailer informed me others had been experiencing this problem with the 14. That was disapointing since the Wave Rider 10-13, had been most certainly the most effective shoes I've ever had.
